I was unable to meet up with John for a ride on Friday so we made plans to meet this morning for a ride at Hale - one of my favorite places to ride. Just on a whim I posted the ride up on Bikerag, no one responded so I figured it was going to be me and him. I got there and four others showed up so we ended up with a "real" group ride. We did the north side loop first and by the end of that section John was done and another guy had a problem with one of his pedals, so he was out. That left us with a group of four for the homestead side trails. It was a really good ride, good pace, pretty evenly matched riders, which is always nice. Great day, great conditions, great people, can't beat that.
